Datspire Website Privacy Policy

1. Scope and operator
This Policy applies to the Datspire website at datspire.com and www.datspire.com (the Website). The Website is operated by Datspire, a sole trader business operating in Queensland, Australia, ABN 65 769 026 203 (Datspire, we, us or our). The Shop at shop.datspire.com and the dat.form app have their own privacy policies.
Datspire's turnover is below the threshold at which the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) automatically applies; we handle information as if the Australian Privacy Principles applied to us in full.
2. What the Website collects
The Website is a set of static pages. It does not ask you for any information, has no forms, sets no cookies and contains no advertising or social-media trackers.
The Website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a page-view script provided by our hosting provider, Cloudflare, Inc. It records the page you visit, the page that referred you, your browser type, your country and how quickly the page loaded. It does not set cookies, store anything on your device or fingerprint you, and we see only aggregate figures. Cloudflare also adds a bot-detection script to each page; the Website blocks that script from running.
If you have visited the Datspire Shop, your browser may send cookies that the Shop set for the datspire.com domain when you load the Website. The Website does not read or use them. The Shop's Privacy Policy at shop.datspire.com explains them.
When you load a page, the hosting provider, Cloudflare, Inc., receives the ordinary connection information any web server receives: your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser and device type. Cloudflare uses this to serve the page, protect the Website from attack and produce aggregate traffic statistics for us that do not identify you. Cloudflare operates globally and this information may be processed outside Australia. Cloudflare's privacy policy is at https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/.
The dat.form app makes one request to this Website when you open its Policies screen, to find out whether a newer policy version has been published. That request carries nothing about you or your records; see section 8 of the dat.form Privacy Policy.
3. Email
If you email us at an @datspire.com address, we keep your message and our reply for as long as needed to deal with it and for two years afterwards. Mail to our @datspire.com addresses is received by Cloudflare Email Routing (Cloudflare, Inc.) and forwarded to a Google Gmail mailbox (Google LLC); replies are sent from that mailbox. Both providers may store messages outside Australia.
4. Links
The Website links to the Shop, to app stores and to third-party sites. Their privacy practices apply once you leave the Website.
5. Access, correction, deletion and complaints
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or make a privacy complaint by emailing privacy@datspire.com. We respond within 30 days. If a complaint remains unresolved you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at https://www.oaic.gov.au/privacy/privacy-complaints.
6. Changes to this Policy
We may amend this Policy. Each published version states its effective date.
